The engineers from Seishin proudly present their latest racing ship, the Arakuna.

The Seishin Arakuna is a state-of-the-art vessel featuring a revolutionary engine. This engine is based on the concept that an accretion disk around a black hole can generate immense energy. Positioned below the cockpit, you will find a black orb suspended in a forcefield, surrounded by superheated gas. This gas serves as the primary energy source, harvested by the craft to produce power typically associated with larger vessels such as battlecruisers, rather than a single-seat race ship like the Arakuna.

The synthetic black hole that powers this experimental engine is not created by the Arakuna itself; instead, it is generated in a highly sophisticated space-bound particle collider. Once a quantum black hole is detected, Seishin's scientists 'collect' it with great care, nurturing it to reach a stable size suitable for integration into the Arakuna's engine. While extremely dangerous if mishandled, Seishin assures us that they have mitigated all risks through rigorous testing.

Now, you might be aware of the fact that a black hole has a monumental gravitational pull, making it too dangerous as a power source within the craft. Well, the black hole is placed inside a device that is powered by the accretion disk to form a force field that effectively contains the black hole's pull. You can safely get near the engine without being turned into spaghetti (you know, that weird stuff the aliens of the third Rock from Sol like to eat).

That said, the Arakuna's engine needs periodic maintenance to manage the black hole's gravitational pull. This is because as the black hole slowly gobbles up the accretion disk, it gains power. Eventually, this would lead to it overpowering the forcefield and the black hole would swallow up your ship. Luckily, a BH mass gauge is fitted to let you know in advance when you need to have the Arakuna serviced.

And then there is its design. The Arakuna sports a fetching asymmetrical livery, with one side in metallic orange and the other in silver.

The interior of the cockpit is a little slice of heaven, handcrafted with the finest leather on the galactic market, carbon fiber, and chrome. The seat is tailor-made for the buyer, ensuring comfort and control. The onboard computer features an integrated AI system that operates symbiotically with the pilot, enhancing navigation and performance.

The Seishin Arakuna is made to perform and keep you comfortable at the same time. It does come with an extra set of keycards that let you activate the Arakuna's racing mode, though you have to pass a reaction test to access this feature. In racing mode, the Arakuna's heavenly comfort transforms into something diabolical, perfect for true racing addicts.
