@Aladingenie: Interacting with other sentients they want to appear tall and commanding, and also benefit from an extra pair of graspers in day-to-day life.

My thoughts on their physiology considering the older versions of the creature is that they will walk on all 6 limbs, 4, or 2 as the environment demands.
