Description
(Fictional aircraft, interpreted from a game). The De Havilland Wright was the premier dive bomber of the Canadian Navy for more than a decade. Upgrades to the aircraft made it better than new designs, allowing it to stay in service. More in comments.

A well done aircraft; the radial engine and the canopy do stand out.

I should mention this is a late model Wright; the early model Wrights had significantly reduced performance.

Awesome design, love how you were able to give depth to the tailgunner's position!

This plane almost looks acurate to real life aircrafts! and also, awsome job on the propeller (sorry if i didn't correctly spell it :P)

Obviously this is a plane from Rule the Waves 2, which randomly generates it's planes and gives players several options to choose from. It's mostly a naval strategy game. Plane development was also on "slow" in this game.

The De Havilland Wright would serve with great distinction in the 1944-1947 Canadian-German war and the 1953-1957 Canadian-American War, with a proper replacement only coming online in 1960.

The plane even outlasted a designed replacement for it, the Viking Baschurch, which, despite sporting greater performance than the Wright F, could only carry a 1000lb bomob to the Wright F's 1400lb bomb.
