Redundant title is redundant. Dahnaata are fond of using automated machines in war, and this is just another one of their autonomous concoctions. These self operated aquatic drones are typically used to guard ports in areas under siege. They aren't overly durable, and do little but float on top of the water, but pack a punch if they manage to land a hit. Pontoons on the lower half of the structure serve to support the pivoting upper gun array, which utilizes run-of-the-mill AI to track and fire at targets. They are programmed only to attack ships they recognize as foreign, a fact which is determined by what sort of signal the vessel is broadcasting. The acceptable signal is generally changed daily by the owner of the drone, making it difficult for hostel ships to escape fire.
