#4 of my shinies is Gardevoir.

Gender: Female
Nature: Hasty
Ability: Synchronize
Method of Capture: Chained in Diamond. Caught in Ultraball.
Moveset: Psychic, Shadow Ball, Wish, Will-O-Wisp
Backstory: First let me say this: Chaining is the fastest yet most obscenely difficult and stressful way to obtain shinies. Gardevoir was on my list early on, due to the fact that it was just plain awesome. After an incredible amount of research on how to chain, I attempted to get a Ralts or two. I failed miserably. I scattered the Ralts chains around with Magnemite, only to have both fail. Many times. I got to 38 on a Ralts chain once, and a 39 on Magnemite, but were both broken by a Kriketot and Floatzel respectively. After that, I took a long break from chaining, due to its general stressfulness. One night, I decided to give it another go. I got to 40 on the first try. Ten minutes later, I was in a battle with the first Shiny Ralts. I was ecstatic, and caught her immediately with an Ultraball.

Where exactly did you chain Ralts? I only know them to roam around Hearthome city, and my chains are most commonly broken by Budew. Is there an area where they appear more commonly?

Oh! Oh! Guess What! I caught a shiny shinx in a chain of forty one! By far the easiest pokemon to chain, and one heck of a shiny!
