Description
Tyrannosaurus rex was a species of tyrannosaurid from Late Cretaceous North America and Asia(?). Adults ranged between 39-44 ft. long and weighed 5-7 tons. They were generally scavengers, but on occasion they were fierce hunters.

I agree with Mammals vs. Dinos' opinion on T-rex hunting: the juveniles were sent out to chase the prey into the waiting jaws of the parents.

T-rex families would probably target fully-grown hadrosaurs if they can't find carcasses and there are too many mouths for a juvenile to feed.
