Also, cats, dogs, monkeys, mice, rats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, ferrets and other animals used to test cosmetics are totally different for us. Just because it's safe for a rabbit doesn't mean it's safe for a human. Let's work for welfare!

@Andy912live: Are you crazy? Laboritories can seize pets for testing! They go to animal shelters, humane societies, and even SPCAs and request animals, and by law the shelter MUST give them the animal NO MATTER WHAT!

And they kill animals in pounds when they don't get adopted. It was the fate of more than 250,000,000 strays last year!

And in some places, they have these things called rattlesnake round-ups. They pour gasoline in tortoise burrows to force out hibernating rattlesnakes, capture them, force them to give up their venom, and then slaughter them for entertainment purposes! Y_Y

Animals provide us so many wonderful things, yet some people just show hostility to them in return. Like this: Lots of people hate cats, but living with a cat during childhood increases you longevity by 3 years and 10 months!
