The Cataphract is the toughest, slowest tank ever conceived by the Kamorrans. It is truly a tank's tank, the closest the Kamorrans have come to matching the legendary invincibility of the Corinthians' Tartarus MBT.
The Cataphract utilizes the same quantum mirror engine as the Hyacinth class fighter, which without getting too complicated is a linked shield matrix that gets stronger if another user of the shield comes within range. The more Cataphracts in a unit, the stronger their shielding.
