Description

Leon is a holy man by trade and a skilled exorcist. He certainly looks the part, garbed in golden white with some manner of holy warrior motif. A life of intense demon-wrangling has given him a holy warrior's stance; his head is always bowed and his back is always arched and prepared for anything. The gold ring on his hat is even meant to represent a halo and by association purity of mind, though his actions beg to differ. He considers himself an incorrigible ladies' man. The ladies consider him that funny man with the gold hat, but that has never been known to stop him. Exorcists are infamously bad at pickup lines.

Recently however his behavior has changed as a result of a botched exorcism. Just as Leon was reciting the final rites, the victim's maid, unaware of the ceremony, burst into the room holding a tray of refreshments. Leon's concentration lapsed and the demon, momentarily free, latched onto the nearest corporeal body. Unfortunately for Leon that happened to be him, and the demon localized itself somewhere within his hat. Since then Leon has become erratic and prone to strange behaviors such as bursting into song, stealing cufflinks right off peoples' sleeves, and jumping into bodies of water only to emerge completely dry.

He has not let this interfere with his exorcisms. He still performs them on a semi-regular basis, but he now tends to spend most of the procedure chit-chatting with the demon, asking inconsequential questions such as "how's auntie?" and "have you seen my pants?"

Attempts to remove the possessed hat have been made by concerned colleagues, but it seems to have fused completely to his head. Strong men with crowbars have failed to dislodge the haunted headgear, and nobody has seen even Leon himself remove it. He apparently sleeps standing up.
