Description

The Caddyshack's energy converter is a device that is used to multiply the kinetic force of the drive axle. By employing large amounts of energy in a stable chamber, the axle can be rotated many times faster than the normal engine would allow. More below..

However, smaller energy converters are being designed, so Caddyshack's smaller cars can utilize the technology.

Due to the size of the converter, the cars that use it tend to be much larger in order to accomodate it. Also, a new type of tire had to be made, because using conventional tires with the converter simply spun them at thousands of RPM's.

This device allows the cars using the technology to achieve it's high top speeds and horsepower output. However, it has some drawbacks.
