Description
The Meteo Crusher (also known as Rock Crusher) is a utility/defense ship designed to, as its name's sake, crush asteroids and planetoids in the Asteroid Field into dust and extract the raw ore and minerals found within them. These materials would then be transported back to Venomian bases to be refined and later used to construct weapons and starfighters. Due to the danger of enemy and pirate attack, these ships were extremely well defended: it has a Quad-point Pulse Ring Laser that fires from the rear arc, twin Charged Sonic Deconstructors in the front arc, and powerful advanced lock ship-to-ship missiles fired foward, which provided all-round defense. Later models were equipped with a large Electro-Reflector Shield to cover the weak spot at the back where the rocks were collected; but the problem of the weak spot where the missiles were launched was never solved.
