Just where did I go wrong. less than a month has passed since Pitt?s disappearance and I can?t help but notice certain strange things. At first I tried to ignore these feelings, passing them off as paranoia, and the stress of recent events. But more and more I have started to realize; something is happening to us?. It?s been days since I last ate anything. Not for lack of hunger, but because all the food smells of rotten eggs, even the water has taken on a noxious odor. The other day, I had Chief Medic Anderson test the storage units, but she reported that everything was fine. So I went down to inspect them myself, normally I would have taken her word for it, but ever since the incident with Dr. Pitt I have been unwilling to trust anyone? upon entering the storage dock my suspicions were confirmed. I couldn?t even make it to the first container, the smell was so putrid that I literally had to run, gagging from the room. Anderson still insists that the containers are clean and that I must be imagining things. To be honest, I?m almost inclined to believe her. Today I figured that I?d try again to eat something, I?m starting to feel a bit weak and my stomach is so empty I could swear it echoes with every grumble. I could feel the nausea building as I approached the mess hall. Despite the horrid stink, I loaded my tray to the brim and found an empty table in the corner. I pinched my nose shut and was just about to take a bite when I heard a voice coming from behind me.
