Description
Queens are the lifeblood of the Solenopian race. Each queen commands a colony of up to 10,000 Solenopian workers and warriors. They are mother to every Solenopian in a colony. She will lay 3-7 eggs a day which will hatch into miniature adults within 20 days. Depending on what these hatchlings are fed, they will either mature into workers or warriors. More meat and spice makes a warrior, more plant matter and nectar makes a worker. In times of war more than 75% of a colony can be made up of warriors. A new queen can be made if the current one becomes injured, or too old to reproduce. Queens are made by feeding a hatchling all nectar and spice.
