Description
Of the three races that founded the League of Allied Worlds, the Great Cataclysm had single greatest cultural impact on the Krikix. Once brutal interstellar conquerors their brush with extinction has greatly mellowed them. They now view first contact with new races with excited fascination instead of being just an opportunity to size up potential slaves for the spice mines. The female Krikix outnumber males 4 to 1, a fact which has significantly shaped their culture. They most commonly live in large extended family so that single female relatives may assist in the raising and care of children. Krikix are renowned for their honesty, believing it is an insult to the intelligence of both the liar and the individual the are lying to.
