After decades of failed attempts to acquire a true advanced tactical fighter of their own, the U.S. Navy has finally achieved their goal. The Northrop Grumman F/A-36 is a tailless 5th generation stealth aircraft suited for carrier operations, and armed with directed energy weapons. Utilizing thrust-vectoring and a fly-by-wire system, it's tailless body and sleek shape offer great stealth capabilities and advanced maneuvering.
