Description
Heinkel He-231 Florett - Geplantes deutsches Senkrechtstarterjagdflugzeug aus den 1950ern. Die VJ-101 wurde danach unter Verwendung der Erfahrungen mehrerer konkurrierender Entwürfe aus dieser Maschine entwickelt, einige Male geflogen und dann gestrichen. / German planned VTOL supersonic fighter from the 1950s. It was not built, but redeveloped into the VJ-101 using additional experiences from competing designs. This aircraft in turn was flown several times but got cancelled before introduction to Luftwaffe service.

Apparently there were 2 concepts submitted for He-231, which are totally different. This is the correct Siegried Günter version. The other one is a tail-sitter.

It seems like this design is one of the last designs by Siegfried Günter who was responsible for many noted aircraft like the He-70, 111 or 162. I only found the German Wiki page on this aircraft; the sketches on the page You mentioned are much better.
