Description
?Bringing freedom to everyone languishing under the Jex dictators.? - A typical motto of Arkver. One of the most infamous and most hunted criminals in Jex history, the Bolask Arkver (referred to as ?The Prophet? by the Hydrox) carries an eye watering bounty of 900,000 Jendia. Responsible for nearly a dozen bombings, multiple murders and multiple assassination attempts against high ranking Jex figures, Arkver has become an almost legendary figure in various cultures. He is seen as a devil and a monster with many (the Jex in particular) but is seen as a hero in a small, extremist minority. First appearing around 2150, Arkver has since become a regular sight on wanted messages all over Jex space. Arkver himself claims to be a freedom fighter, wanting to liberate the various races in the Maelstrom Union from what he claims to be a Jex dictatorship, a view even some high ranking Maelstrom Union, non-Jex figures partially agree with. To do this, he claims he will attack only Jex targets or those sympathising with the Jex. However, his tendency to kill civilians and cause general misery and bloodshed has made him unpopular at best and despised at worst. Despite this, his achievements speak for themselves: Arkver has done more political damage to the Jex in a few decades then the Pak?Vator has since its founding over two hundred years ago. At some point, Arkver even somehow approached the Hydrox and, not only did he survive, he managed to become a deeply respected non-Hydrox in their eyes. Jex intelligence believes Arkver somehow convinced the Hydrox he could bring their precious Warden ?Gods? back and, as such, the Hydrox typically refer to him as The Prophet and protect him with their lives. He has been seen on several occasions working as an agent for them and has at least three times been seen directly leading Hydrox forces. The strangest thing about Arkver by far, however, is that according to Bolask records, he doesn?t exist. He has no birth record, no transactions in Bolask territory, no records of any Bolask education, no records relating to him at all. He claims to have deleted and destroyed all files relating to him, yet such a feat is virtually impossible due to the mass of security systems the Bolask deploy. In short, there is little doubt that Arkver is a remarkably mysterious figure seen as a hero to some and a villain to others. He is a living, walking, talking enigma who is unlikely to be caught any time soon, by the Jex or anyone else.

Perhaps Arkver's records were never made at all!? And there has to be some explanation for why he has the natural ability to electro- slap his foes.

Arkver is a perfect example of how NOT to be a freedom fighter.

Could the Warden have uplifted the Hydrox?

Before anyone asks, yes. Arkver will pretty much be the main antagonist of Sins of the Past, though there will be several through the course of the series.
