Description
?In even the brightest of suns, we shall remain invisible. In even the bleakest of odds, we shall triumph. From the darkest shadows, our blades shall strike forth until no enemy still stands in our way.? - Typical Jex Spec-Ops mantra. The Jex are famous for having some of the finest warriors in the galaxy but of all the forces they field, the Special Operations units are perhaps one of the most potent and deadly examples of what they are capable of. Spec-Ops are often spoken of in feared whispers with pirates and criminal elements and in admiration with fellow Jex. The Jex proudly claim there is not a place in the galaxy safe from a Spec-Ops unit, no place they cannot infiltrate, no target they cannot destroy. As they are only seen when success and/or subtlety is absolutely necessary, Spec-Ops are equipped with highly experimental, prototype equipment that rivals just about anything any other race can produce. Their training is the only other factor that can rival this. Spec-Ops go through months of near non-stop, rigorous and expensive training, all to make them experts in espionage, assassination and, most of all, killing. Their only weapons beside their devastating intelligence are duel Plasma Swords, the same weapons used by Jex Field Masters. The blades channel superheated plasma down the blades via magnetic fields which is easily capable of cutting through shields and armour, not to mention creating very gruesome and painful injuries to the sorry fool underneath. At first, the Spec Ops may look like they lack a ranged weapon but their blades possess yet another trick. When held close enough together, the two blade?s magnetic fields clash together to form a plasma charge just in front of the chest. Via the blades neural links, the Jex can then fire the plasma at a target, dealing just about as much damage as the blades themselves. The potency of this technology, however, still has a price. The cost of the devices that create the magnetic fields is incredibly expensive and requires absolute precision engineering to make properly. As a result, the weapons are very rare in the Jex forces and they have become a classic symbol of Jex Spec-Ops units.

I may also make a vehicle/ building set for my version.

I'm remaking all of my game creatures with some techniques I've recently learned, including the Aerok, so it may be a long wait.

@Your Comment: The adventure will not be related to the SOTP universe, It will be a stand- alone adventure that will involve the Jex and my main playing creatures, the Aerok.

Hey, can you post the creature version of the Jex? I want to re- outfit it for an adventure I am going to make, but I want to make it in the empire outfitter.

Great description and armor

...quite intresting, since all Zentex have the ability to manipulate magnetic fields.
By IsakExplorer
Oh... Just read about the weaponds and I think that if the Zentex is a rouge species, Not a part of the MU and battles against them it would be....

Is the Jex inspired by an Elite from Halo? The posture and shape seem similar, and the Elite Spec-Ops have a similar outfit (No, I don't have Halo, but I have a strategy book).
