Description
Tyrannosaurus Rex. It is one of the largest terrestrial carnivorous dinosaurs ever approximately about 12.8m long, but this is challenged by others such as Carcharodontosaurus, Giganotosaurus and Spinosaurus. However, it is still the most famous dinosaur, known from its large head full of bannana-sized sharp teeth, which has the ability to crush not only the tough flesh, but even bone. This evidence of it swallowing bone could be found in its fossilized waste. The victims of this feared predator would have died of loss of blood or fatally injured from the massive bone-crunching mouth. Tyrannosaurus' arms are two-fingered and tiny, too short to grip prey. It also has a highly developed sense of smell, as well as acute binocular vision. Most palentologists believe that Tyrannosaurus is an opportunistic hunter that is able to hunt for prey when it needed to but some scientists claim that it is a scavenger. Despite being the top of the food chain, Tyrannosaurus Rex is one of the last dinosaurs that would become extinct 65 million years ago. [Please ask permission first if you want to use it.
