The Panzer IV ausf D was built in 1940 and 278 were built totally.It's main armament was a 75mm KwK L/48 cannon.This one is supposed to be painted for the Africa corps.

The Panther would be quite difficult; I've been eyeing it up for a while now but for the most part concluded that's shape would have many seams and would eat complexity like a pig.

@Lintuper - I'll swear I've seen pics of Ds with them. Maybe some did, so me didn't. dunno.

@lbd: Ausf. D didn't have a counterweight at the turret's rear. I think it's because that... Better than mine!

Could you make a version suitable for GA. (Make it freedom off and add the most simple of wheels, so it doesn't hower in the air.)

They never had any schemes like this, though. Anyway, you've finished it off quite nicely but why did you kill the 'box' on the back of the turret? It's also missing some vents on the rear, but I guess that's complexity.

Yes, that tricolour scheme was the late war scheme. I can't remember the dates exactly (44 I think), but for a period German tanks where delivered in Dunkelgelb and the crew painted the other 2 colours in the field according to conditions.

hey i've been working on that ship for quite some time, but as some people may know iHATE painting my work i think it ruins it but lsigh> i try my hardest, so feel free to do a repaint if you want! :)
