Description

The FEAR experiment was the most horrendous of all the splinter war experiments, also the most successful. It was designed to create an army of telekinetic soldiers, from study they had found that only children had the talents needed for the experiment. They took hundreds of children from across the solar system, and stored them in unkept tight spaces, feeding them only just enough to keep (most of them) alive. These pens had no bathrooms or any way to get clean, so the children wallowed in their own filth. When the children were taken they thought that they were going to a better place, they couldn't have been more wrong. Most were taken to 'terror rooms', where they would be injected with psychotropic drugs, hooked up to a brain activity monitor, and exposed to wretched horrors; all in hopes to inspire their natural 'talents'. Needless to say, some children couldn't handle it and died of fear. Other less fortunate children were taken to the medical lab, to be dissected. most of the time the surgeons were under trained and had no chemicals stop the pain with; mostly the subjects never left there alive, but they endured hours of torture, before dying. The ones who survived these horrors were no longer children, they had been frightened to the point of insanity, and were covered head to toe in lacerations, and bruises from the brutal beatings that followed noncooperation. The ones that failed to meet criteria were either killed on the spot or sent to be hooked up to monitoring devices for the rest of their lives. The successful ones though, they were abominations. The powers they wielded were stronger than anything before. They had the power to bend reality and change objects. They could make someone go insane or kill them instantly. But these were not humans anymore, neither were they telekinetic soldiers; they were something more. They were a weapon
