Description

Kasia has lived a tragic life. Originally a human from the planet Ra'ze, Kasia watched as her family was raped and murdered by ex-Combine pirates when she was 8, and was sold into a life of sexual slavery at 14. At 16, after she had already been traumatized almost daily by the horrors of the Ra'ze slums, Kasia was abducted by Klythle mercenaries and sold to a Neo-Trysk Formation group for experimentation. Unfortunately for Kasia, she possessed a remarkable genome that made her ripe for genetic and cybernetic augmentation, and the Neo-Trysk scientists quickly went to work building the "ultimate weapon" commissioned to them by Ouroboros Industries. (Funny how that would have worked out, she was caught by Klythle but would have been deployed against them). Kasia was subjected to untold horrors in that dirty lab, as her humanity was stripped from her and replaced with... something else. It isn't clear exactly what was done to her, but the being that emerged screaming from the operating chamber was something far more that the Neo-Trysk workers had bargained for. Their plan had almost worked: The neural loyalty subsystem wired to her nervous cluster had all but brainwashed her, and she blindly followed her new masters. But, when a foolish female scientist showed the bioweapon her disturbingly familiar draconic reflection, something crucial in Kasia's mind snapped. A lifetime of horrors came flooding back to the mortified monster, and Kasia let loose an agonized psionic roar that shattered every bone in the other woman's body, damning her to a slow and painful death. Fear and despair gave way to rage, as her life of misery crescendoed into a pure rage that would have made a god cower in fear. Tearing an Infinite Repeater from the arm of a prototype assault mech, Kasia of Razed stormed through the facility after mentally locking it down, cruelly torturing and killing -No, not killing. Kasia slaughtered the scientists like animals, the blood from her hellish tantrum running so deep it stained her knees. Blood painted the walls, spines littered the ground, and inhuman screams of sheer agony snuffed out the facility's ambient soundscape. Even after the last man's wet, terrified screams died away, Kasia was still left with an insatiable lust for carnage. She had been dealt the short end of the straw for long enough: It was time that the people responsible for her misery paid the price in the only currency she knew: Suffering. What happened next in the last, dark months of the Corporate War aren't entirely clear, but apparently Kasia inadvertantly guaranteed the Combine a sound victory through her berserk rampage. With her family and suffering avenged, Kasia found herself running out of options. She came dangerously close to killing herself, loathing the monster she had become, when she chanced upon the leader of the Combine, the Ascendant Sovereign himself. She quickly befriended the lordly machine, and she now serves as his private assassin simply because she no longer knows how to do anything else. But it's a life regardless, and for the first time in her life Kasia is happy. Her full list of abilities is classified, but it is said that she is the Ascendant Sovereign's equal in terms of sheer power. And that is enough to terrify anyone who knows about her, though thankfully they don't have to know about her for long-

@freakinator: Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, but a woman scorned hath no fury like a wounded, vengeful soul.
