Description
Time: Unknown. The planet was known as Kuronios. It was a lush, vibrant place that boasted an extraordinary spectrum of flora and fauna. The only thing that could match its colorful ecosystem in terms of variety were it distinct geological regions, with drenched rainforests to massive tracts of land covered in volcanoes and lava flows. Mortals occasionally visited the planet for research or for reasons that were less on the legal side to many races. Many immortals had come there, often seeking spiritual retreat or mental peace, but only one immortal called it home. He had lived in solitude on Kuronios for zeta-cycles, for reasons no one is quite sure of. In fact, the only thing most beings new of him was this: he could create one hell of a weapon. Weather it was a blade, firearm, or otherwise combat-related, he made it better than anyone else, for which reason he was often sought out by immortals. Today, however, he wasn?t working. He simply sat outside of his forge that lay at the base of a mountain in a pensive state. Krankheit, a friend of his, had informed him recently that an enormous war had broken out, engulfing the universe in death. Apparently, ALL immortal factions were becoming involved, although the conflict certainly hadn?t reached Kuronios, yet. He chuckled at the idea that he was the only immortal not taking part in this war. He certainly was no great leader or hero, anyway, so what did it matter? Come to think of it, what was this war even being fought over? He laughed aloud at that thought as he got up and reentered the forge. He had walked for only a few moments when a voice called out of nowhere, ?You haven?t changed much, I see.? The sound echoed throughout the forge. The immortal instinctively swung around, drawing a sword from a nearby rack and brandishing it. After a second of eerie silence, he called, ?Who?s there?? No response. He yelled? ?Aw, come on. Is that you Krank...?? Suddenly, the immortal?s weapon disintegrated out of his hands. He staggered backward in shock as the lights in the forge began to mysteriously dim. ?I was hoping you would?ve? recognized me,? the Voice rumbled from seemingly all directions. The trembling immortal managed to respond, ?I- I tend to remember faces more than I do voices.? ?I?d like to think my voice is somewhat more recognizable than others,? the Voice spoke with a calm satisfaction. The immortal shook his head as if to have a nervous breakdown. ?No,? he stuttered, ?No! It?s not possible!? ?I beg to differ,? the Voice hissed as the sword rematerialized and pressed itself against the immortal?s neck. ?Now look,? the Voice commanded, ?I could break into your mind and gather the information I?m looking for as well as all of your best kept secrets. However, I?ll give you a chance to answer my questions willingly, first. If I?m not satisfied with your responses? you get the idea, of course.? The immortal was at loss for words at first, but he quickly gained some composure and nodded swiftly when he felt the bladed close in on his neck. ?Alright then,? the Voice rasped, ?let?s make this brief.?

It's funny how we don't take inspiration from the ground beneath our feet. What's to say there are more multi-terrain style planets like Earth. This planet has deserts and forests and seas and volcanoes and tundras.

Oh, I forgot to say. I've been trying to hint at multi-terrain planets for awhile. Have you ever noticed, even in the most brilliant stories like Star Wars and Doctor Who, that alien planets are all just 'one terrain worlds'?
