Description
After several failed colonizations attempts that took too long to support life, the IAE invested into a space-traveling type of central spire. Built with four standard sub-light engines, it can travel just as fast as any ship in the IAE fleet. It enters a planet's atmosphere in reverse and then plants itself into the ground. Once all systems have been thoroughly checked, it can begin the self-supporting drone worker colonies. Within a week, civilians and workers can beam down to inhabit the built structures.
