Description
If the majority of Kalreenian species disappeared after the ecological cataclism, some well installed sand dwellers prospered, though. Adept of massive droughts, the Ramotrag is one of those. Living most of it's life under the sand, the Ramotrag's segmented, well-ventilated body doesn't need much hydratation. Made for digging, and fast, this bug of prey hunts mostly by ambushing anything it's sensors spot. It digs right under the prey, using it's front claws and shovel/like sidefins and tails, reaching incredible speeds for an underneath animal, and then simply sucks the sand, creating a humongous quicksand crater from where the poor target can't escape. Some specimens, according to ancient legends, already swallowed small villages in one take. Strange craters dissemined on Kalreen's surface seem to confirm this theory. Approaching the size of an Earthling whale, the average Ramotrag will prefer small isolated preys, though.____________Part of my food chain contest, N°3: the giant frantic eater. BEST SEEN IN GAME
