Description

Kalreen isn't an easy planet to grow on. Really. Enormous temperature scales, hot silice/gneiss white desert covering a great majority of it's surface. Actually, Bawombos, as herbivores, should thank evolution for letting them survive on such harsh conditions. Luckily these very tiny beasts found the trick: in place for rough n' rare plants search, they developped a filter mouth, allowing every phytological particle dragged by Kalreens strong winds to feed them. Their really tiny size, and quite low metabolism prevent them on starving quickly. And cherry on a cake, they can vent their insides by opening bony membranes just under the eyes. Bawombos are indeed a perfect adaptation example, but unfortunately on the bottom of food chain, and unable to defend themselves. But each female can mate often and have a large amound of hatchlings at a time. Eggs are carried in a back pouch, where their temperature can be regulated by a sophisticated ventilated womb.
