Description
One of my favourite animals of all time. The bombardier beetle is unique for its self-defense system-- when threatened, it combines two chemicals at the tip of its abdomen, which react explosively to create a boiling hot fluid which sprays all over the beetle's attacker. It's often fatal to insects, and can cause horrific burns on human skin. And that's why it's so awesome. Based on the Australian bombardier beetle, but inspiration also taken from the beetle of the same name in Relic's computer game Impossible Creatures.
