Description
Startled by an indistinct sound, I awoke from a fitful slumber and peered out into the darkness surrounding my camp. On the horizon, I noticed a certain glow that was neither the lights in the heavens nor the intruding presence of technology. My curiosity forced me to investigate. When I quietly crept to the top of a hill, I looked down upon a fantastic sight... a herd of phosphorephants grazing upon the lush growth along an idyllic river bank. I decided to move my camp to this vantage point in order to be able to appreciate this view for an extended period. After some time, I fell asleep once again... this time to the gentle lowing and glowing of these beautiful nocturnal herbivores. When I arose the next morning, the creatures were gone, but the memory... ah, the memory will stay forever.
