I used the mod called "Cellparts Xtended". Search for it on Sporedum.net and install it if you want to be able to reshape cellparts. Installing is very easy, and the file's very small. As far as I know, it's completely safe to use.

Those strange parts are actually cell parts, but I used a mod that allows you to change their shapes using the same system as with normal creature parts.
