Try just holding down the A key and moving the part.

Thanks for the great comment! Hold down the "A" key while the mouse is over a limb or detail. The asymmetry icon appears on the cursor to indicate asymmetry is enabled. then just move or remove the one you are working on.Hope this helps.izzyCheck in sp
