Description
...and when the madness took them their civilization was largely destroyed. Those few who survived hearing the eldrich chord found that they had been separated into two peoples. Some (who would call themselves Hafn) retained only the holistic and creative facets of their consciousness, Others (the Horz) were left with only detailed and rational thought. Unable to effectively communicate with each other, independently the Hafn and Horz struggled to rebuild their shattered cities. Eventually two cultures would emerge, one centered on airy spirituality and the other on cold science.
The sounding of Fnathn is honored in the ancient Hafnet histories as Hhrka Fah (the Great Enlightenment). But the Horz curse the day as Hhrka Nahvn (the Great Sundering).
