Description

The war was started generations ago. What began as nationwide division between two groups broke into civil war. The two sides aggressively sought to gain the upper hand. But the years dragged on and on with no end in sight. Allies of the nation began to slowly side with one faction or the other. What was started as a civil war, became a planetary one. Deeper and deeper the two sides sunk into war. Brutal opponents fought tooth and nail to try and win. But no ground could be made. Generations began to pass, knowing nothing but uncontrolled war. The reason for the start of this dismal fight became lost. Only hatred for the other side remained. Then, a new foe rose to combat the two sides. The few neutral nations that remained, had allied with each other to try and stop the two factions. These tanks (whose original names were 'lost') started to roll onto the widespread battlefields. At three stories tall and a block long, these new tanks ruthlessly crushed those of either side. With devastating nulear missiles, nigh impenetrable armor and plasma cannons, these 'War Horrors' spared none in their way. Driving through cities, they crushed the factions under its treads. Within a year, the two warring factions were so decimated, they reverted to tribal-like camps. Fleeing into the forests to try and save themselves. The neutral nations realized the sheer power of the 'War Horrors' and greatly feared their own creations and the annihilation they spread. After a century of total war, the neutral nations stopped the mindless bloodshed. Unable to destroy the tanks, they were sealed deep underground, never to be used again. All records were destroyed in hopes such genocide would never be started.
