Description
Delbarien are a mid-sized omnivore found on the vast deserts of Deriniac. Generally solitary, they only ever congregate during mating season. Though quite awkward in appearance, Delbarien are very sure-footed, and as such most can be found in relatively safe canyons or gorges. Thick bristles coat their neck and chin, that are assumed to be used as protection. Like most Deriniac inhabitants, Delbarien will eat any encountered insects, but fresh flora is welcomed far more. They lack feet, which one would assume would deplete their agility and dexterity, but somehow they manage quite well without them. After an intense mating ritual, Delbarien often lay eggs only days later, which surprisingly are blue. Without a very high level of research, it is as yet unknown why this occurs.
