-->If you enjoy this creation please rate it on spore.coml-- The Tundra Arrow Spider project was initiated by the AIA Hybrid Araneae Weapons Division to expand the AIA?s arachnid arsenal for deployment in low temperature climates. The blood of these predators was engineered with anti-freezing properties allowing them to withstand extremely low temperatures. Tundra Arrow Spiders are ambush predators, they weave a complex system of webbing that acts as tripwires across the surface of a snowfield to alert them to the approach of prey and allow the trap to be covered by a fine layer of the drifting snow. These tripwires lead back to an almost igloo like shelter the spider has woven for itself and covered in insulating snow where it waits to ambush its victim. The spiders get their name from a series of specially evolved venomous fangs which grow in a constantly replacing series, much like shark?s teeth, and the spider is able to ?fire? them at its prey with incredible accuracy from fifteen to twenty meters away. *Created By Serevanth*
