Description
Eru are bipedal herbivores that graze in large herds. Their large leg muscles allow them to run at great speeds across plains to escape quick predators. The soft tissue of thier heads are protected by a large frontal crest. Easily domesticated and farmed, Eru meat is a staple found on almost every sentient omnivore's plate. Eru are an extremely hardy species, and can be found on planets covered in ice, to arid, desert planets. Eru are nearly defenseless, and are only dangerous to sentient beings in a stampede. Some species utilize Eru as mounts, and many more use them as general purpose beasts of burden. This majestic, versatile and useful creature has carved a role in the galaxy not through dominance, but through submission.
