Description
The herbivourous equivalent to its swampy counterpart, the Sharmeron Water Maiden is a majestic aquatic creature favored by many societies only for its beauty. The Water Maiden's diet consists of grasses and weeds that can be found in its swampy habitat; it may also be found in oceanic habitats where it feeds on seaweed, algae, and the like. Its specialized feeders on the mouth can be used for feeling its surroundings when the Water Maiden comes into close contact with the land; apart from the feeders, the water maiden can also use echolocation to detect distances and surroundings (listen to it sing). Although the Sharmeron Water Maiden is usually a prime target for the Nar Ruk'ken Swamp Monster (when it hunts big game in deep water), the Maiden's specialized tail and fins allow a speedy and stealthy escape when necessary.
