Description
For LazyOne0615's Recruiting Contest ------------------------------------------------------ While he IS the leader of the Divine and the Spirit world, Horu is not above the employment of spies -- and nor are Demons above fear. Spared by Horu Himself, Ma'Qirud the Shade offered his services to the Divine in exchange for his life. Unlike most Demons, however, Ma'Qirud is one of his word; he serves Horu faithfully as an informant and spy. As a lieutenant in Huro's army he is privy to many of the group's battle plans and strategies, while still maintaining a low enough profile as to remain out of suspicion. In battle, he tactfully leads those under his command into vulnerable positions where they are set upon by large numbers of Spirits; many Demons perish in the attack, and Ma'Qirud and his men take out just enough to put up a fight. These seeming "berserk charges" have even gained him favor with Huro the Damned, putting him in an even more dangerous position to the legions of his "Master".
