Description
Heshimils are grazers of the planet Ardliwia. These insectoid creatures live in herds up to 100 and are about the size of a capybara. They live long lives, but only if they are not eaten first (they are eaten by both carnivores, and carnivorous plants.). The ?pores? on their backs are for two things: Communication and scent dispersal. The special thing about Heshimils is that if they ever get lost in the densely forested home world, they can mask their scent to match those of its surroundings, while at the same time having another scent released so it can be found by other members of its herd. This is especially handy for new grazing sites. Its frontal horns are for dominance over other?s of the same gender, and only males have them. Their nostrils are whiskers that are adjacent to the ?pores? closest to its face. It is very sensitive.

Well, trying to change someone else's rule regarding a contest they put up is an area I don't really want to get involved in. Hope you understand that ;)

So, will you do more work on gender differences in the future? If you do, I encourage you to go wild at it! :D

You've definitely got a good grasp of sexual dimorphism. Many species have females with duller coloration than the males. Good example here.

I'm a big fan of your creatures, and I was surprised I hadn't buddied you yet.
