-->If you enjoy this creation please rate it on spore.coml-- Prestaria is a hot and humid swampy world blanketed by a massively dense atmosphere. Excluding the poles and the heights of the mountains the surface of the world where not still covered by the seas is made up of bogs swamps and marshlands and obscured in a rolling constant flow of fog. The Gildadon are one of the largest creatures to have evolved on Prestaria, and like the rest of the life here they are classed as amphibians due to their dependence on the bogs themselves. The Gildadon have evolved past swimming, but still need to immerse themselves regularly to keep their skins moist and healthy. Weighing in at an average of 15 tons they have no natural predators on their world. The only creatures large enough to threaten them are still confined to the deep seas. The most common cause of death for these creatures comes from the swamps in which they make their homes, a misstep into sucking mud from which they can seldom escape. The Gildadon have developed an extremely rare characteristic in their evolution, a distinct branching between the two sexes. Female Gildadon are Herbivores, whereas male Gildadon are Carnivores. The females sift through the waters of the marshlands with their dual trunks feeding on the aquatic plants. Male Gildadon subsist exclusively on a diet of fish, which they often catch by flanking the females as they graze and snagging the fish disturbed by the females as they swim away.
