Description
Not heeding the warnings after the incident with the shard brutes, the Shardling's researchers thought further ShardEnergy exposure testing was necessary. At the peak of energy exposure, the subject began mutating even more until it became an incomprehensible monster. The skeleton mutated in ways unpredictable, and the mouth of the beast grew almost as large as its body. Unlike the brutes, they have nothing resembling real consciousness and seem to only have one need: Feed on flesh. Such terror in appetite and appearance earned them the nickname "Daemon". If you encounter one of these: 1. turn around 2. place one foot in front of the other 3. Repeat 2, very quickly.
