Description
In the light of the Darwin year, I present you Darwin's pet turtle: Harriet. A lot of Darwin's early work is actually based on turtles. He collected Harriet on the famous Beagle voyage when she was only 2 inches. In 2006 she died at the age of 176, recorded as the oldest turtle in the world.
