Description
The Kriet reside on their peaceful, aquatic world of Hydour. They live in small aquatic huts like beaver dens made from the translucent, hardened sap of the Geltis tree. They use their amphibious abilities to fish underwater. Often, large groups of 30 will take large nets and lightspears (which attract fish) and gather hundreds of small fish at a time, twice a day, taking what they need for their families and selling the rest. Though they're herbivores, they are able to eat fish when prepared with seaweed. However, their peaceful existence has been disrupted by the Malinn uprising. They were forced into small prisons, living five to a cell, and forced to eat the nauseating fruit given by the Malinn wardens. They couldn't live like this anymore, and they began their struggle for dominance.
