Description

The Chelon Ascendants were once the Thir clan Chelons, until they discovered Crystalit writings in a bunker on a long dead world. They follow the Crystalit purpose; seeking to maintain balance in the Galaxy, especially when it means eradicating the abberant stains of the void from the Galaxy. Shortly after their conversion they returned to their Chelon kin in order to be an example of enlightenment, but they were quickly cast out when they took pity on the Medusa and protested the genocide. Since then the Ascendants have separated themselves from Chelon society, even going so far as to ritually remove all their eyes except for one pair in order "to further blind themselves from the Xenophobia and Hubris of Chelon society, that has blinded them to the true threat of the void". Some say that these Chelon didn't just accept some ancient writings, but that they were brainwashed by an ancient Crystalit device so that they may continue the Crystalits legacy. Whether the brainwashing theory is true or not they are now certainly devout believiers and can be found around the center of the galaxy where the last of the Crystalit are said to be found.
