Description

The Jakor'ie generally look down on curiosity, spreading out, and strangers. Such things are considered for children to them (which is strangely why their children are their greatest inventors and explorers, and in general more innovative than the adults). However some who are born with insatiable wander lust that does not fade with time. Since they do not fall within the regimented society of the Jakor'ie they are generally looked down upon, and seen as insane delinquients for not adhering to the place their elders assigned for them at birth. Since they are taken for little more than insane, and often are mentally underdevoloped, they are treated little better than animals by their "normal" kin. To make use of them the elders often use technology to bind and shackle them into space ships equipped with recording equipment and send them off to wander aimlessly through the galaxy, sending their findings back to the homeworld. The elders do not do this out of true curiosity of other races and planets, but rather they seem to be interested in finding something specific and often sift through and discard most of the findings and discoveries of the mindless explorers that the elders do not consider pertinent to their unknown quest.
