Also, the French Line was considering adding a sister ship to the Normandie, but the plan failed because of the war. ( I know alot about ships from 1905-1950)

It's funny how the man who designed the hull( it was a differant shape then those befor it) went to Cunard to see if they wanted it. And the said no! Turns out that the Normandie was faster then the Queen Mary and larger. To bad the Americans let her burn
