Description
The ulstrake is a proud bird, despite its modest appearance. It can be found streaking accross the plains and deserts that it calls home, outrunning nearly anything that might pose a threat to it.
Creator Tip: Lower the torso from the highest elevation to embed inside the body any nodes that are close to the surface. This is a technique I'm working on that is based off the same principles as the float glitch, but it appears far less glitchy. Once you have your torso in the correct shape (don't worry about spinal arrangement), raise it up as high as it will go (as a side note, this doesn't work for the tallest creatures since there's nowhere else to go), then attach the legs. Bring the node you wish to embed close to the surface of the body, shrinking it if you wish (you can enlarge it after moving it, but not after the embedding process if you go far enough, so take care). Lower the body back down, and you will see the nodes scale with the changing height, and those closest to the body will embed themselves in it. The result is a very fluid walk with more realistic looking movements if done correctly. If you have the proper texture and detail work, the minor stretching that results is not noticeable. This is still a work in progress, and I'll upload a more complicated creature when I work out the finer points.
