Description
Irritated by the unbreakable habit of his riders falling off their mounts after being killed, Humunculus Widd infused his strider creations with a genetic mutagen that fused the rider and mount together. Should the rider manage to be severely wounded, the backup systems in the strider would keep him alive long enough to return the mount to base before the rider succumbs to injury. This simple alteration would save Widd substantial amounts of money and genetic materials.
