You find yourself at a base camp of some sort. There is a shield generator that also seems to work as a cloaking device. That guy over there must be the scientist. Go see him.

Talk to Dorgo. He'll tell you to use the Cannon to fly over to a Teleporter build site. Remember that while in mid-air, hold the "'W"' key to increase your flying distance.
