ACT 1 :
Follow the instructions given after meeting with the Magistrate. Once completing all tasks, report back to the Magistrate for the next assignment..

ACT 2 :
Meet with the Science officer, follow all of the instructions given; If you are able to succeed report back to the Magistrate for your last assignment..

ACT 3 :
After surviving the first two tasks you've been instructed by the Magistrate to meet with the Warden, if you prevail report back to the Magistrate..the survival of your species depends on you.
