Descripción
Dahnaat architecture, especially that found prevalently in developed countries, tends to by flamboyant and vibrantly colored. The bulk of most buildings is housed underground, while the decorative top portion houses a few impractical rooms as well as an entrance. This structure is a typical residential unit, and is fit to house a standard Dahnaat family of about eight inhabitants. The spine at the very top of the structure serves as a sort of short range antenna, and downloads news and information from the antigravity supported, government owned media pod docked above it. In most developed nations, the government has ownership over almost all land and buildings. Dahnaat civilians typically don't pay for their housing, but instead earn it by having a certain percentage of workers in their household. Jobless Dahnaata are dealt with harshly unless they can provide a valid reason as to why they are not working. If they fail to do so, they are either let off with a warning or shipped into mandatory military service for a variable amount of time. Even the elderly are expected to work occasionally in low stress jobs. Such unforgiving sentiments are leftovers of an era where, if a Dahnaat didn't provide useful services, it was a liability to the community.
